Alistair oversees the national marketing and entertainment activities for NLG’s portfolio of hotels. In this role, Alistair develops and implements initiatives that increase hotel market share through extensive localised marketing plans that represent NLG’s Macro strategic revenue goals in order to maximise profit for the respective businesses.
The localised marketing plans include Hotel promotional schedules, entertainment, sponsorship, community networking, staff culture and focus on NLGs commitment to customer relationship management. Alistair also designs effective communication campaigns through targeted advertising and public relations initiatives.
Alistair has spearheaded a number of NLG’s key supplier arrangements and introduced innovative marketing concepts through the use of Ecommerce & direct marketing database campaigns.
Alistair has had over 14 years of broad Hospitality experience in operations, entertainment and marketing management positions and joined NLG in early 2007 after heading the Marketing Dept of the Palace Group of Hotels. Alistair has previously worked on major hotel campaigns & initiatives that have been recognised and nominated for AHA awards including Marketing Campaign of the year, Sports, Entertainment and Community venues of the year. He has also worked with major international touring acts and record labels on their national tours and has consulted to companies like the Sydney Turf Club and Xbox on major events. |
